Established in 2008, the Mercer Athletic Foundation is the fundraising arm of the Mercer Athletic Department. Its mission is to raise funds to help increase athletic scholarships, upgrade facilities, and recruit and retain top-level coaches.

A Message from Director of Athletics Jim Cole Dear Mercer Family: This is an exciting time to be a fan of the Mercer Bears. Our athletic department is experiencing unprecedented growth with the recent addition of men’s lacrosse (2010) and women’s sand volleyball (2012), along with football and women’s lacrosse hitting the field in 2013. Additionally, our teams are enjoying historic success. Men’s basketball won the 2012 Postseason Basketball Tournament, and baseball amassed more than 30 wins for the third year in a row. With growth comes significant cost, which makes your gift to the Mercer Athletic Foundation (MAF) critical to our success. The MAF provides the support our student-athletes need through scholarships, facility upgrades and top-level coaching. Your gift to the MAF directly affects the student-athlete experience and provides the support necessary to win both in the classroom and on the field. The success of our student-athletes is an excellent return on your investment in the Mercer Athletic Foundation.

All seats in the BEAR PLUS section of the football stadium will be assigned based on lifetime giving to the University and then date of reservation.

BEAR PLUS program required gifts must be received, not pledged, before the seating deadline of April 30 each year.

Donors/season ticket holders interested in group seating (individual donors/season ticket holders who wish to select seats together) must forego the highest priority (best) of the group and select their group seats on the lowest priority of the group.

Donors/season ticket holders must order a minimum of two (2) seats to be eligible for the BEAR PLUS program.
