Along with her love for life and laughter, Ramona enjoyed dancing, and playing Bid Whist. She fought with diabetes for four years, but never stopped believing in God. Her.favorite scripture was Psalm 23, and she often quoted, "The Lord is my shepherd". She believed in family, helping others when they are down,j and would always offer encouragement, or a quick joke to lift your spirits; Ramona Rogers made her heavenly transition on October 24, 2ob7, at Harper Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. To cherish her memory: her son, Michael Rogers (Barbara); her four grandchildren: Calvin Wright of Denver; Colorado, Michael, Daniel and Michelle; her sister-in-law, Edith Newsome (brother Marcus, now deceased), and nephew, Marco Newsome. "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. " - REVELATIONS 21:4

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and 1will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. "
