Carolina Catholics ·· Catholic Campus Ministry for USC Undergrads ~ ‘Emboldened by His Spirit’ Dear Carolina Catholics, + JMJ + I wanted to write you, students, to express my deep gratitude! On this last day of the year, I find myself humbled by the extravagant love of our God and Father. When I was looking to serve Him, I gave Him permission to only open the door He wanted for where He wanted me to serve. And, that led me here to 1610 Greene Street. I am humbled that YOU would let me walk with you; how you have trusted me & been open to the workings of The Holy Spirit! It was with a heavy heart that I turned in my resignation, effective this last day of 2017, due to health complications. However, I have peace now because I know I am being joyfully obedient to the Father’s will for me. Though our paths pursuing His heart may look a little different now, know that we can & will always meet in the Eucharist. Please take everything we have learned in our time together & use it for HIS Glory! Thank you for the privilege of serving as your Campus Minister. I don’t have any pictures of us feeding the homeless because our hands were too full pouring out Christ’s love. I don’t have any pictures of us praying because we were too wrapped up in receiving a fresh outpouring of The Holy Spirit. I don’t have any pictures of us enjoying community because we were completely focused on being present to our brothers & sisters. But, I will carry all those sacred memories with me. I hope you will, too! I am entrusting you to the faithful protection of Our Lady & St. Joseph! And, whatever you do, never, ever forget to choose to love ·· in Him, through her, Raquel Martínez

If you’re a Catholic, you have probably seen it: a mysterious series of numbers and letters, looking for all the world like and equation, inscribed in chalk over the doorway at your parish, or at the home of a friend. Maybe you thought you could figure it out. Go to this website to learn more about the Epiphany blessings of your home.
The STM Youth will be attending the March for Life in Washington DC Jan 17th through the 19th! Pray for a safe and blessed journey.
