Israel Solidarity – Online Sessions

On Sunday, October 6, journalist Jessica Steinberg of The Times of Israel presented on “The Impact of October 7 on Israeli Society – Challenges, Divisions and Opportunities.” Lorna Klein commented that she “spoke to us in a riveting and clear way about the pain, challenges, politics and hopes of Israelis since October 7. Sharing her own experiences running for cover that day, as well as telling us about her conversations with hostage families and released hostages were both illuminating and impactful. I found hearing her first-hand insights and knowledge to be extremely valuable and important.”

On Sunday, October 13, educator Rachel Korazim presented on “How Israelis Responded to October 7 – Perspectives through the Lens of Poetry.” Anise Singer commented that “this event with Rachel Korazim was so enlightening, enjoyable, and a bit overwhelming. I am so happy and grateful to have tuned in. Sometimes, ‘life’ just gets away from me, and overwhelms me. Today's program was a blessing. Thank you!”

The recordings of these sessions are available on the Jewish Federation of Ocean County website www. jewishoceancounty.org/israel-solidarity.
