SOUTH FORSYTH HIGH SCHOOL A NOTE FROM ADMINISTRATION... Welcome to South Forsyth High School, one of America’s Best High Schools as rated by Newsweek and The Washington Post. We are also the proud winner of the 2012 Georgia High School Association Cooperative Sportsmanship Award and 2012 GHSA AAAA Baseball Field of the Year. We are very excited to compete in region 6AAAAAA and look forward to many exciting contests. It is my privilege to share that excitement with you today as we welcome our storied baseball program to another exciting season. War Eagle baseball is committed to excellence on and off the field. I would like to thank Coach Bayer and his staff, along with the parents for their dedication to our school and program. It is an honor to work with our booster organizations and community partners that provide the assistance necessary to make events like this take place. This type of community support allows us to pursue our mission, providing a world class education for the 21st century learner and allows us to continue our commitment to our school motto, connect to achieve; lead to inspire. Enjoy the game. We Are‌South Forsyth! Jeff Cheney Principal Dear War Eagle Faithful, Welcome to War Eagle Field, Home of the South Forsyth High School Baseball program. The Athletic Department hopes that you have a tremendous experience as a spectator. Coach Bayer and his staff have assembled their teams and we are excited about what the spring has in store for the 2014 season. War Eagle Field continues to have improvements that are supported by the Dugout Club. This year it is the addition of a practice infield beyond the right field fence, which look tremendous and added much needed practice space. Combining the resources of improved facilities, an enthusiastic coaching staff, and an energetic mix of experienced and young players it is sure to be a fun year. So, grab a hotdog at the concession and prepare yourself to cheer on our War Eagles to a successful spring season. Go War Eagles! Keith Gravitt Athletic Director South Forsyth High School
