D e s i g n e r n o t e s
The structures themselves serve to accommodate the various health needs of an individual whether you are beginning your journey to wellness or striving to maintain it. Just as health is the successful combination of physical, mental, emotional, and social wellbeing, ‘Well’ combines specialties that effortlessly overlap to cater to all of these areas. By interlocking these elements of wellness by organizing volumes of space, we have created an efficient and adaptable healing environment through evidence based design. Well is carefully design with the intention of unconsciously persuading the user to lead a healthier lifestyle just by interacting in or around the structure. The buildings fluidity encourages physical movement through the space creating opportunities to develop positive experiences and sense of space within a public setting.
Its adaptability and progressive design forms a restorative environment that keeps users coming back to the space, establishing a new perception of health care.
The Addiction and Rehabilitation Center was thoughtfully designed with the specific needs of the patron in mind. This facility is specialized, located in its own building on Well’s campus to provide a level of security and digression. The Addiction and Rehabilitation Center includes counseling offices, lecture rooms and casual meeting areas that serve to work through the process of recovery in a way that will work for every individual.
In addition, this facility provides recreational and lounge spaces that all work together to aid in the process of recovery.
