HISTORY OF THE ATLANTA DREAM CENTER The Dream Center is spreading the gospel to Atlanta, the United States, and beyond, impacting the world for the kingdom of God. The Dream Center was birthed out of a vision to tangibly change lives in Atlanta’s inner-city community with the gospel of Christ.
The Dream Center began with a 15passenger van, a stage trailer, a lawn mower and six people with a heart of prayer and service and a desire to build relationships with people in the neighborhood.
2003 The Metro Kidz program and Adopt-ABlock were the first two ministries birthed out of the Dream Center.
The M25 ministry began when we started receiving food donations. Compassion Night, our homeless outreach, was founded to meet the physical needs of Atlanta’s homeless.
Princess Night, our ministry that ministers to women on the streets, was birthed.
2006 2007-2008 Over 24 ministries are running under the Dream Center. These include: Safe Haven, a children’s home, and Mind Your Own? Business, in which people create their own business with the Dream Center’s help.
2009-Present-Future… God is continuing to grow His ministry as we are obedient. Present ministries are growing at a rapid pace, and people are being molded into the image of Christ. New ministries are coming to the surface, such as Solomon House, a women’s home.
We began to meet for Sunday services underneath a large tent. Later on, God provided various buildings, a gym, and even a theater for meeting space.
