GATE The gate onto the lane is locked with a combination lock and the code is 1808. You will need to push the bottom and top of the padlock together once you have set the combination to 1808 in order to release the lock.

Please keep this gate closed at all times.

HOUSE RULES • No smoking or candles inside the truck • Please take outside shoes off when you come in and put in the box provided • Please use the toilet and not the surrounding areas • Pets and additional guests by arrangement

STORAGE Our main advice having lived on the road is to find a home for all your stuff when you arrive and keep it tidy (washing up as you go etc). You will be surprised how little space you need to live comfortably. Make use of the space under the beds and on the porch.

WOOD BURNER The fire will be set and ready to light on arrival. We provide a basket of logs to get you started. You can regulate the air flow via the 2 round vents.

It is imperative that you keep small children (and tipsy adults!) well away from the hot surface of the burner. More logs can be delivered during your via the ‘Add Ons’ section of our website. Ordering as early in the day as possible is recommended.

UNDERFLOOR HEATING The Showman’s has underfloor heating throughout and can be controlled via the white switches in each area.

We recommend switching all heating off in the daytime if it is not cold in the interest of energy conservation.

SMOKE ALARMS Smoke alarms are set above the kitchen and in the family bedroom.

There is a carbon monoxide alarm set in the living area. These are all marked clearly.

KITCHEN The kitchen is well appointed - enough to host a feast!

The hob is touch control and prefers a dry finger to operate.

To operate the oven and grill you will need to turn the timer dial up.

Please switch on the extractor fan in advance of cooking to keep steam and smells to a minimum.

Our water comes from deep below our ground and is very pure - please drink plenty and take some in a bottle if you would like to!

Hot water is in constant supply.

LIGHTING There is a set of switches on the left of the rear door as you enter, these switch on all of the lights in the kitchen / living area and the porch light. The deck light switch is located between the french doors.

FURNITURE There is a drop leaf table and 4 folding chairs which can be used for dining.

Please feel free to use these out on the deck but please bring them back inside after use.

Please do not take any indoor furniture down onto the grass.

The sofa can be used as a bed for a medium sized adult or children. It is very comfy!

The bar stools are best used indoors and are great to enjoy a morning coffee on or to sit on whilst giving instructions to the designated cook!

STEPS AND DECKING Please take extra care on the desk and steps, especially in the dark and when wet. Small children should be supervised at all times.

Phones can be charged using the USB plug sockets.

You are in a metal box which can obstruct the signal. By an open door / window or outside you should get full signal.

STEREO There is a set of Bluetooth speakers above the front door. You can activate these by connecting your device to EDIFIER R1280DB.

PETS Please ensure dogs are dried off on the porch before entering inside.

There is a hose by the hot tub to wash down the more adventurous pooches!

HOT-TUB The hot-tub is wood-fired. Once filled and fired up it takes a few hours to heat up with the fire stoked every couple of hours to keep it going.

CAMP FIRE There is a stone fire hearth outside on the grass area for your use. We can provide firewood at a charge of £10 per tub - please order on the website at www.naturesspectacular.com/add-ons and then contact us for your order to be delivered to you.

Please be careful with the fire and make sure any children are supervised at all times while the fire is lit. There is also a barbecue grill provided please help yourself to this and make sure it is left as you find it and read the instructions on the tripod. Please do not collect wood from the woodland onsite as it is carefully managed and well loved by its owners and an abundance of nature.

RECYCLING We will recycle as much of the waste as possible from your stay.

Please help us with this by dividing your rubbish up into the separate bins provided outside the truck. Large is for landfill, small is for recycling and even smaller is for compost. Please separate into PAGE 8

correct bins. A small general rubbish bin is under the sink.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU TAKE ALL OF YOUR RUBBISH, RECYCLING AND FOOD WASTE TO THE BINS BY THE COMMUNAL AREA WHEN YOU LEAVE. THANK YOU.

LAND The grass area you are in around The Showman’s is yours to enjoy and should remain private during your stay. Please feel free to use and explore. There are other units on the land so you may see some other guests when using the access and car park. Please respect their privacy, as this is one of the unique perks of the experience we offer.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT Fire Extinguisher You can find a small fire extinguisher located under the sink.

First Aid Kit For minor injuries, please use the first aid kit which you will find hanging on the inside coat hooks Please inform us of any use so we can replace any used items.

If it doesn’t then search for The Stoke Inn BS40 8XE and head down the road opposite - Wallycourt Road. About 500 yards down the road on the right you will see the above mentioned lane.

Drive into the lane and carry on up the hill. As the hill starts to dip down again, you will see a green and red arrow on the left, pointing to a gate on the right.

We would also advise opening the gate in time for their arrival and meeting them at the gate. Please also contact us to alert us to the issue once the emergency services are on their way.
