"Plushies Plus" are super soft transitional objects. Fears are an integral part of children's development process. Most common fears such as fear of the dark, monsters and other unpleasant creatures usually appear at night. When going to sleep, the transitional object is important as a defense against anxiety and can give a child both emotional and tangible comfort. These security objects have a calming effect especially during times of stress. Plushies Plus help children to cope with night time common fears by providing them a feeling of security and control in a scary situation. This publication will show you my thinking and working process through making the Plushies Plus project - my final B.Des project at Bezalel academy of arts and design Jerusalem.
