Istituto Europeo di Design, JANUARY 2012– DECEMBER 2012 I have been enrolled in the intensive one year Fashion Marketing and Communication program, based in Florence, Italy. IED is a university that lets you use your creativity and imagination in surpassing projects. I have had the opportunity to work with some of the most leading fashion companies inside of Italy. I graduated with a diploma and 100/100 cum laude as final mark. Rönnowska High School, AUGUST 2007– JUNE 2010 Rönnowska is a Swedish high school with practical orientation. I attended the Hotel and Restaurant program for three years, now being an educated chef. I have had a total of three internships as a chef over a year of time and have learned the importance of working in a team, having to depend on each other while also working individually under hard pressure and stress.

Working for the media company HD–Sydsvenskan has given me extensive experience. My role as Digital Marketer lets me be creative, hands-on and free to realize all my ideas. I work with all our titles (HD, Sydsvenskan, LP and NST) and our full product portfolio. I cover all activities for our e-commerce and loyalty card programmes, for which I create content, ads, tailored events, banners and newsletters. I also supervise all our campaigns and parts of our digital promotional channels such as Facebook and Instagram. In addition to this, I am also involved in many in–house projects designing digital material, keynote presentations, flyers, videos and campaigns.

CONTENT MARKETING, HD/SYDSVENSKAN In order to increase sales, I’ve been working with content marketing. The primary idea is to have these ads look like editorial content promoting products we’re selling in our e-commerce. I’ve been in charge of creating both copy and images, producing interactive collages and landing pages for each post. See a small selection on the following page.

I have created collages featuring selected items from our e-commerce. Each collage followed a certain theme, holiday or occasion. Such as a color, a category, Black Friday or Father’s day. The main idea was to create something similar to Editor’s picks in order to inspire and showcase our wide range of products.

EVENTS COORDINATION, HD/SYDSVENSKAN I’ve arranged a number of events for our customers and clients. My task has been to find new ways and actions to increase the income and have customers spending more money. I started selling concepts and organizing paid events. I’ve been in charge of the whole process – from idea to the actual event. I’ve planned the marketing strategy, produced promotional material, sought sponsors and supervised the event. Some of the events I’ve arranged are culinary evenings, spa nights, wine tasting, lectures, shopping trips, behind the scenes guidings, book reading summits and gardening classes. 11

Representing our different products and titles, I’ve created ads for Facebook and Instagram. This includes creating content, following a strict budget, analysing the outcome and optimizing the ads. I’ve created videos, single images and carousel ads with different messages. Some ads are to build awareness, some temporary campaigns and some targeting different audiences. 12


ADVENT CALENDAR, HD/SYDSVENSKAN

During Christmas, I launched two parallel advent calendars for our two loyalty card programmes. Each day between the 1st and 24th of December our customers could open a new door and receive a new exclusive offer. To support this I also produced print ads and digital banners. My task was to fill each door with special offers, design the calendar and create each door for web and print. The calendar had something for any age or gender, always with at least a 30% discount.

PUBLIC RELATIONS, PRINTA PR Working in PR as part of a consultancy, I’ve worked across a wide range of industries. I was faced to juggle different cases and learn quickly about a variety of clients and their markets. I had a hands–on position assisting several interesting and rewarding cases. Working with both above the line and below the line activities, I created communcation plans, folders, paper ads, guerilla marketing strategies, analyses, keynote presentations and digital activities for a number of clients. Representing companies in different industries such as the cosmetic unit, the legal sector, the music and entertainment industry and union society.

DIGITAL MAGAZINE, PRINTA PR I was part of launching a digital lifestyle magazine called Mosto – a modern platform to communicate fashion, design, food and technology. My task was to contribute with inspirational content and to boost local businesses by featuring them in articles. I created trend reports from fashion fairs (Pitti Immagine and CPHFW), took street style photos and posted several interviews with a number of big profiles.

PUBLISHED ARTICLES, PRINTA PR Assigned by Helsingborgs Dagblad, I’ve written numerous articles placed in their newspaper supplements Sommarbilagan, Magasinet and Höstbilagan. The project manager of each publication provided me with guidelines and topics to write about. The kind of articles I was given were mostly about local happenings, shopping and diverse surveys. The following two pages displays an article about fall trends in different sectors. The spread was published in Höstbilagan which is an annual pre–fall publication. I made short interviews with local store owners in Landskrona with the aim to increase awareness and highlight trends. It’s in Swedish, bringing both fashion, readings and interior design forward. All other articles I’ve had published are available upon request. 15


DIGITAL MARKETING, ROY ROGER’S & PRESIDENT Working as Digital Media Specialist for the Italian clothing manufacturer Manifatture 7 Bell, I represented two of their four brands; Roy Roger’s and President. My tasks could vary some but my key chore was to build and improve their core communication on different digital platforms. Representing two brands targeting different markets, I had to simultaneously communicate to two diverse audiences, using two different tones of voice. I created content on our websites and social media channels, took product photos, helped creating look books, created visual material for Pitti Immagine and edited press material. I wanted to have a consistent and digital presence, and used channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Google+, Tumblr and Pinterest. I also shot and edited a video for Roy Roger’s called “Your jeans in 18 steps”. The idea behind the video was to portray the way a pair of jeans are made – from sketches to the finished product. The purpose of this project was to display the techniques and precision used, as well as highlighting their craftmanship, heritage and high quality.

FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY, ROY ROGER’S & PRESIDENT In order to create unique content, I took photos of fashion pieces and accessories, working with both lightning, setting and styling. The greatest challenge by shooting products is to display them in a flattering yet creative way while always reflecting the brand identity and its philosophy. I also shot a number of still life photos for stockists and buyers. 18


FASHION/LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHY, PRESIDENT To support an online strategy I introduced for President, I started playing with keywords, personalities and objects. I created images with keywords describing different characteristics such as formal, active, productive, multitasking and laidback. My main idea was to showcase the versatility of selected President’s pieces and how they are useful for different occasions, creating a board of essentials. All pieces used are from President’s Fall/Winter 12/13 and 13/14 collection together with items I collected to represent the keyword I was working with.

UNIVERSITY PROJECTS Attending the Fashion Marketing and Communication program at IED in Florence, Italy, was the start of my journey. IED is a university that lets you use your creativity and imagination in surpassing projects. Being located in Florence, we had the privilege of working close to Italian designers, from high-end to high-street. As a student I encountered a wide variety of projects, working with cases both individually and in groups. Studying both creative marketing as well as branding, graphic courses, new media, fashion writing and public relations prepared us well for the world of fashion and communication. What I appreciated the most is the number of oral presentations we held weekly, working a lot on our presentation skills already from day one. I created several projects, producing advertising campaigns, window displays, social media strategies, fashion events, photo shoots, articles, smartphone apps, communication plans, brand profiles, semiotic reports and a lot of presentations and analyses of both brands, brand strategies and products. We were constantly faced to be inventive in any project we did, working a lot on our creative problem solving skill. I believe I did not only develop in the field but also created my most important network.

COMPLIMENT LETTER, BULGARI, UNIVERSITY PROJECT Working with Bulgari, I wrote a compliment letter for their Bulgari Bulgari ring and Isabella Rossellini bag, relating to a teaser letter following the same concept.

BRAND PROFILE, UNIVERSITY PROJECT For the fictional brand Metalab I wrote a brand profile and a press release referring to set brand values.

The art of making minimalism prolifically is more than just something we say, we make sure that we achieve it. It is the mixture of refined Italian tailoring and English wit that contribute to our concept of alternative luxury and person to thank for our success is Lou Silva. Lou Silva is not only the art director and designer, but also the main inspiration behind our brand and the chich, sophisticated and sexy design we keep. Our philosophy is based on the incredible life of Lou Silva, who doesn’t only have the experience one might not even gain in a lifetime, but has become a very important contemporary character. While dividing her life and work between Milan and London she managed to become a main contributor to several less developed countries wellfare system after donating almost the whole amount she inhertied from her very successful father. She demonstrated that true prosperity should be worked for and has now conquered a wide audiende with her outstanding collections that are stablishing on the Italian market. Not only being sold in Italy, Metalab is already popular in Scandinavia and have hopes to expand even more in Europe while also trying to become part of the global market in the futue. Our vision is to produce timeless fashion in subtle colors that highlight femininity, sexuality yet independency. Silk dresses, peplum tops and light blouses are parts of our concept. Importance to us is to use qualitative materials and one of our main goals is to emphasize the fact that luxury comes with high quality and not excess.
