Drink protein drinks as snacks First off, don't use protein drinks to replace your meals.  Protein shakes don't contain enough calories and don't fill you up enough.  You'll end feeling starved and that's a recipe for disaster.  A better method is to eat regular foods in your meals and drink protein shakes for mini-meals or snacks.  The extra protein will suppress your appetite and speed up your metabolism.
