Pizza 51 West is a local pizzeria with a casual atmosphere. The restaurant is located in what was once an old gas station. The menu and identity play on a Route 66 theme, including arrow elements from iconic mid century motel signs that flourished along the roadway.


& DECO Nelson Atkins Art Exhibition

Promotional poster and companion booklet for an Art Deco exhibition at the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art. The exhibition includes topics on architecture, art, graphic design, and cultural moments of the movement. The design reflects the core principals of Art Deco but color and typography keep the overall look fresh and modern.


TH E LA N E Wine Bar Identity The Lane is a stateside offshoot of the Australian winery Ruby Lane. Offering a cool ambiance, creative small plates and fine wines from all over the world, The Lane is the premier place for a relaxing drink among friends. Employing weathered copper elements and an organic logo, The Lane’s identity takes on a cool, earthy vibe that reflects the spirit of the Australian brand.

RUBY LA N E Winery Identity Ruby Lane is a winery and inn nestled near the coast of New South Wales, Australia. With winery tours and tastings, outback adventures, fine dining, plush villas, a full service spa and more, Ruby Lane is the ultimate getaway. Ruby Lane’s circular identity is inspired by the Aboriginal symbol for “meeting place”. The colors are drawn from New South Wales’ unique proximity to the red desert, golden grasslands, and turquoise sea.

FO XTA LES Children’s Bookstore Identity Foxtales is a children’s bookstore that encourages kids to discover the joy of reading through a fun, colorful atmosphere and engaging products. The identity uses the clever fox and fairy tale forest as its thematic elements.


FO XTALES Book Bungalow The Book Bungalow is an easy-assemble reading nook for kids. The idea is to make reading fun and exciting by providing a special and fun kid-size place for kids to read, play, and learn.

The Book Bungalow’s form came out of the idea that packaging could transform into product. Thus, this product is easily unfolded and refolded and can be stored in small closets or under the bed.

DRO P FES T Music Festival Campaign Drop Fest is a 4-day beach festival featuring a collection of dance, pop and indie artists. Located in San Diego, the festival supports Charity: Water, an organization that helps establish water infrastructure in underdeveloped areas. Drop Fest also promotes sustainable water and material use and distributes free reusable water bottles to all of its attendees.
