MESSAGE: what is the point?

CONCEPT: how may i approach it?

Inspired by music from Tony Takitani, this project is a comment on how one should respond to the loss of identity. It is an exploration on trying to reach equilibrium between past and present, when caught in memories.

While granting the client security by reassuring his past being, the space will also allow and encourage him to re-enter the world. While the functional domestic spaces are set for his present being, the circulation spaces are to grant him access to his past. Parts of this circulation space will also act as a boat, which allows him to sail off and “live in the past� for a moment. Sound should act as the bridge between him and the world, enabling unmediated communication to his past and present being.
