Forest Park

As a group project this was a good opportunity to share the workload and bounce ideas off of each other. Our initial investigation into Forest Park’s directional signage helped us decide on color coded signage to differentiate which section of the park you are in. Although we were heavily directed in creating our logo, we were able to relate this to our map and the division of the park into five sections. The typefaces we chose to use were Hoefler & Frere-Jones’s Archer and Verlag. Archer seemed a perfect fit to give our branding effort an overall friendly and appealing tone, while Verlag was clean, legible and easy for the eye to read immediately.

Logo & branding + Packaging

This project explored product branding, while targeting a specific market and age group. My bright color palette and use of alliteration was intended to stay fresh in the minds of a younger audience. The swooping shapes and droplet suggest snacking and imply the tail or tongue shape we associate with reptiles.

Logo & branding + Packaging

The wine bottle branding project was my introduction to packaging. Vinyl adhesive was used for the logo application present on the bottle, while silkscreen was used to apply to the cloth-wrapped box. The sticker-wraps and labels were kept minimal to achieve a clean and sophisticated look.

Film Signage + Motion Titles + Packaging

This multi-faceted project came along with the requirement that we did not use original film content within the motion titles or the poster. In each section of the piece I contrasted dull and desaturated colors with those that were bright and vibrant. This was intended to reflect the inner turmoil and tension of the main character while staying faithful to the dream versus reality collision present within the film’s storyline.
