Hemorrhoids or piles are enlarged veins around the anus or the rectal region of the human body. This mostly occurs in the event of hard bowel movements when the pocket is broken due to the pressure and the blood comes out. These bleeding hemorrhoids may bleed for weeks and it is advisable to seek medical advice and treatment for them as soon as possible. If they are left unattended, they will cause more discomfort and you have the possibility of getting infection in the future, leading to more complications.
