His latest book, Letters to a New Teacher was published last year.

Jim will offer tools to engage students in developing thinking strategies that are applicable in all subject areas. Participants will learn: •

how note-taking strategies help students succeed in all academic classes

about strategies for students with learning differences, assisting struggling readers and writers, challenging students in advanced classes.
