POLYETHYLENE PLATES

Our Polyethylene plates are incredibly light, highly durable, and rifle-rated. Bonus feature: they are neutrally buoyant, capable of floating, and feature a hydrophobic wrap.
P3 POLYETHYLENE BODY ARMOR
Polyethylene stops threats by “capturing” the bullet in its material- the heat of the bullet partially softens the front of the polyethylene, allowing the bullet into the material, where it then is stopped by the remaining fibers within the plate. As the bullet slows down, the polyethylene then re-hardens. Because of its unique way of stopping bullets, polyethylene is able to take multiple hits without shattering.

The C2 was developed by Armored Republic’s R&D team to take multiple Level IV threats without allowing a passthrough. The C2 Multi-Hit is compatible with all standard-size carriers.

Manufactured in-house at our Phoenix, AZ facility, our C-Series ceramic plates are made to handle more powerful military-grade weaponry than any other plates. Capable of stopping multiple hits from .30 caliber armor-piercing M2 AP rounds, our ceramic plates are second to none for protection and wearability.

The C3 is built to handle the warzone. With its light weight and multi-curve construction, this is an incredibly effective plate, tested to stop as many as three successive M2 AP rounds.

The S2 - Soft Body Armor panel is made of Aramid and built for a balance between affordability and top-level capability. It is lightweight at just 1.25 lbs and has strong stopping power defeating all handgun threats.

Our S2 panel provides level IIIA body armor protection and is built to be convenient and capable of stopping multiple hits from all handgun threats up to 1,440 FPS. This soft armor plate is made of two alternating aramid types, layered in a special arrangement that allows the panel to work multi-directionally.
