Understanding our Market Value Propositions! Hey guys! The main idea of this report is to provide you with some information that might be useful when you go to sales meetings. On the MC we have identified that one reason we have issues establishing credibility in our meetings is the lack of knowledge across the country about who we currently partner with and why. In this report you can learn a little more about the value propositions we have already identified with our current partners and who the interns we have in those markets are. By understanding and using this information in meetings we will create CREDIBILITY. One Value proposition that currently is creating a lot of interest in companies is to use the AIESEC Internship Program as an strategy to target talent from specific countries , develop a talent pipeline and also as a support to their international graduate recruitment strategy. A clear value here is that when you send talent into the internship program of AIESEC they can be retained by the company when the intern return to the country.

One Value proposition that currently is creating a lot of interest in companies is to use the AIESEC Internship Program as an strategy to target talent from specific countries, develop a talent pipeline and also as a support to their international graduate recruitment strategy. A clear value here is that when you send talent into the internship program of AIESEC they can be retained by the company when the intern returns to their home country. VMware: Rotation of graduates in five countries. The AIESEC interns will spend 6 months in two different countries developing an understanding of the different realities of the organization. This gives the company the opportunity to retain talent with a better perspective of the organization if they wish. Interns will rotate in Singapore, China and Australia. The company was specifically looking for talent from the US who have graduated with skills in computer programming that are not found in Australia. This gives Suncorp the opportunity to target talent from an specific universities in the US to Australia to supplement their existing graduate program Contact Peter Masters for more details Boral: After looking at different ways to supplement their leadership pipeline in their Indonesian business, Boral, Australia’s largest construction company, partnered with AIESEC to recruit talented graduates from Indonesian universities to come and experience the company in Australia before returning and continuing to work for the company in their home, Indonesia. The interns have successfully begun work in both Brisbane and Melbourne, and the divisional HR manager of Boral has written to many heads of departments across the Asia-Pacific region saying, “We will monitor this closely and if successful look to expand to other countries and Cement operations/Construction Materials.� Thanks must go to Sarthak (QUT), Hiroki (MU) & Matt (RMIT) for going above & beyond with the reception and servicing of these interns. Target Market: Companies with offices around the world- Companies interested in expanding their offices- Companies interested in targeting talent from specific countries. We are on track to realize 30 interns from this value proposition.


Recruit Engineers!

Can we bring Mechanical, Electrical

and Electromechanical Engineers??? Of course we can! Last year Engineers Australia identified that there is a national shortage of 2000 engineers and that Universities in Australia needs to increase education in Science and Math. This means the opportunities are currently there. The question for us is can we find those opportunities? One example is Electrolux based in a regional town in New South Wales who has requested 6 engineers so far to work in their refrigeration plant based in Orange, New South Wales. University Business Development You probably are aware that the university sector is a potential market for us; we want to give you the clear examples of how we are working with the university market at the moment. One of the key value propositions in this sector is providing the university with talent with a leadership background and a young global mindset talent that will bring internationalism, diversity and leadership to the department. Financial Institutions The Banking and Financial sector is one that we still haven’t capitalized on too much. There is a big demand for accountants in the regional areas; that´s a potential opportunity we could capitalize on more. We are currently partnering with UBS where we have interns working in the legal and compliance department. One of the main reasons why UBS partners with us is because they are a global partner and they have had successful experiences with the AIESEC interns. They trust in the quality and that’s why they partner with us. GE is our long standing partnership that has facilitated around 30 interns in departments such as Risk and Accounting. The value proposition for them is to develop a leadership pipeline that after finalizing their internship in Australia will be encouraged to apply to the International GE Graduates Program.


Global Partners People always ask us about who the global partners are. They are top quality partners of AIESEC involved for many years in numbers of various AIESEC initiatives and co-operating with AIESEC International. Each Partner opens 1570 high quality internships in various fields and different locations. It is always good to be aware of who is currently in that group and to mention them in our sales meetings.
