JCPRD Summer Camps

Face it - Your Kid Needs Summer Camp! Smiles. Grins. Giggles. Being out of breath from having fun. These are the marks of summer camp faces, and they’re not as far away as you might think. Now is the time to start planning for summer camps, and this guide can help you get it done! Registrations for JCPRD’s 2019 camps begin Monday, Jan. 28, and the sooner you sign up, the more choices you’ll have available. With more than 90 separate camp programs this year, offerings include fine & performing arts, nature, science, leadership, and much more. Note that this year, the guide’s table of contents lists a number of camps that you’ll only find online. We’re confident everyone will find something to their taste. Most full-day camps offer sessions beginning weekly from June 3 to July 29. Other camps start throughout the summer. Camps are offered all over the county (see the map and addresses on the back cover), and we have programs for ages three through 18. Parents appreciate the comfort of knowing their kids are in a safe, well-supervised, and fun-filled environment with a commitment to activities that promote emotional, intellectual, and physical health. Remember, don’t wait too long, or your child could miss out on some great summer experiences, as our camps are consistently some of JCPRD’s most popular offerings of the entire year and many fill quickly. Financial assistance is available for some camps on a limited basis for qualifying families. For grant information and application materials, call (913) 826-3014.
