1. THE RECYCLING OF AGRICULTURE about: Final Year Proyect location: Estepona, Málga. Spain data: 2019 The area where the intervention is carried out, located in the eastern part of Estepona, is characterized by the large number of small crops and orchards fruit trees, exploited by a large number of owners. Has the peculiarity that is surrounded by elements of different nature. First, we find the Arroyo de la Cala and the Padrón River, at its mouth in the Mediterranean Sea, as landscape elements that have conditioned the position of the crops over time, due to its high fertility. With the arrival of tourism in Estepona dryland crops have been replaced by irrigated crops, with increased use of water for irrigation that this implies. In addition, the large farms are divided into a large number of small properties In the historical moment we are in, sustainability in agriculture should play a very important role, which currently does not have in Andalusian municipalities, such as Estepona, with the large area of ​​agricultural land available. The production, management and treatment of waste derived from agricultural activity, in addition to the awareness of these small farmers as to how they can carry out its activity harming the minimum to the environment, will be keys to guarantee such sustainability without harming your economy. The objective of the project will be the conditioning of these areas industrial to house a building for waste treatment agricultural together with a training and research center to raise awareness to local producers on recycling and train them in self-management of their crops, making it a sustainable activity for the environment ambient. This implementation will culminate with the occupation of the entire industrial zone of progressive and phased in time, reconditioning the margin of river, improving mobility and introducing urban gardens, green areas and other equipment related to the agricultural world, being this zone the new heart of agriculture in Estepona.

2. FINE ARTS MUSEUM OF CORDOBA about: Class Work location: Cordoba, Spain data: 2018 We introduce a serie of low-rise and permeable cubes, among which people can travel, finding spaces of different kinds, courtyards, dilations ... The museum space is located at a lower level than the street. Small server spaces lead to the different exhibition areas, whose highest height allows the entry of a controlled light and creates the external image of small cubes. The courtyards at different levels introduce vegetation and light, communicating the two levels. The museum seeks to relate to the environment in which it is located, mainly through vegetation. The privileged situation with respect to the river reinforces the idea of ​​permeability of the building, allowing people to travel through it and be able to reach the riverbank. An element of reference of greater height appears at the entrance of the museum, in which the scientific library and the research center are housed, next to which we find the access ramp that introduces us to the complex. The height expansions allow the creation of different rooms and exhibition areas, spatially separated by this change in volume and allowing the entry of controlled and diffused light that does not damage the works. The courtyards allow the entrance of light to different sculpture rooms, being also accessible for rest and the possible placement of exhibitions, both for the support of the storms, and for sculptures.

Vista entre cubos.

El espacio público del museo busca estar lo más vinculado posible con la naturaleza, creando zonas de esparcimiento y paseo. Los pasajes entre cubos crean perspectivas con vistas al río, desembocando en sus aledaños, donde encontramos el espacio de cafetería con plazas y zonas de vegetación. Deambulando entre los cubos, además de observar las entradas de luz que iluminan las distintas salas expositivas, encontramos zonas de relación con la cota inferior del museo a través de patios con vegetación. Pretenden ser lugares de calma y estancia, pudiendo albergar exposiciones.

La organización del museo sigue la retícula de los cubos que aparecen en la cota de la calle. Aparecen espacios servidores en las zonas de menor altura, donde encontramos las circulaciones del Esas dilataciones de altura permiten la creación de distintas salas y zonas expositivas, separadas espacialmente por ese cambio de volumen y permitiendo la entrada de luz controlada y difusa que obras. 3. MUNICIPAL AUDITORIUM OF RIVEIRA about: Competition (Architect Assistant in Estudio Carbajal) location: Riveira, La Coruùa. Spain data: 2019 Our proposal for the new Municipal Auditorium of Riveira is born with the ambition of becoming a new cultural and tourist reference in the area. Its volume, inspired by the waves of the Galician coast and the sails of the boat in the city’s emblem, will be cut out in the nearby mountains, emerging on the horizon. We think that this shape, in connection with the history and nature of the city, will be a perfect background for Praza do Centenario, an appropiate transition between the city centre and the outskirts. Both the building form and its position are marked by the knowledge of the surroundings and the tight urban regulations. The loading and unloading zone, in relation with the stage, is placed over Avenida de la Constitución, at the south limit of the plot. The auditorium is set back from that avenue, leaving enough space for those operations. The public areas of the building (the hall, the ticket office and the cafe) are projected on the north side, close to the heart of Praza do Centenario. The foyer is conceived as an open space, with entries in its three facades. The multipurpose room is placed above, with great views over the urban landscape. The project outlines small actions, to facilitate the integration of the auditorium in the square, such as the extension and improvement of green areas and their relationship with the playgrounds or the layout of sport fields on the other side of Rua Barbanza. The functional program brings together two different uses (auditorium and multipurpose room), wrapped under a common envelope. But its volume allows a clear reading of the inner organization. The auditorium will have accesses in both levels, the ground floor and the upper one. It will have 510 seats distributed among the stalls, the gallery and the box seats. The objective of the project is to achieve a good performance for all kind of events, from theatrical productions to film screenings, for music and speeches, for shows with a large numbers of people or events where less attendance is expected. The design of the stage and associated areas, with suitable zones for loading/ unloading and temporary storage of scenographic supplies, facilitates the schedule of several activities in short periods of time. Our intention is to provide Riveira with a culture machine, a new attractive and versatile facility that will revitalize and enhance this urban space of great importance for the town.

4. THEATRE IN LLODIO about: Competition (Architect Assistant in Estudio Carbajal, in association with VAUMM Architects) location: Llodio, PaĂ­s Vasco. Spain data: 2019 The project tries to concentrate its volume close to Altzarrate Kalea, with the intention of reducing the visual impact over residential buildings. Avoiding offering large frontal planes that would limit the views from these houses, our proposal has been modeled in a way that strictly wrap the inner spaces, looking for fluid surfaces that would generate better and more dinamic visual relationships. The volume is, due to its function, hermetic. Its flat and blind facade emphasises the idea of an autonomous, abstract and forceful piece, an outstanding element in the residential context. Thanks to its position, raised and close to the railway tracks, the theatre will be present for people who daily use the train, becoming not only a urban reference but a memory of anonymous travelers that will link the building with the place. In addition to a logical and appropriate organization of its different areas, one of the main objectives of the design has been to make possible a new urban order, more friendly from the social point of view. The building interacts with and complements the public space, taking into account conditions as proximity to housings, the steep slope of Altzarrate Kalea or the lack of continuity of pedestrian paths in the block between Villosa Hiribidea, San MartĂ­n and Altzarrate streets. In that sense, the new theatre aligns its higher volume (corresponding to the stage) with the south-east building, moving away from the north-east one and creating a new stair that connects with the upper pedestrian area. And the new cafe, between the lineal patio and the square, will become a meeting place in Llodio, in relation with the cultural life of the city.

5. NEW LIBRARY FOR VILLAVERDE DISTRICT, MADRID about: Competition (Collaborator in Estudio Carbajal) location: Madrid, Spain data: 2018 Our proposal tries to solve the requested functional program and take advantage, at the same time, of the opportunity to improve the conditions of the urban space. Once respected the necessary setback of 5 meters with respect to the residential building of the southeast, the new library take this guideline while fold its other facades with the aim of solve the needs of its own areas and generate outside open spaces that boost the public character of the project. New libraries are not only places of wisdom accumulation, but centers of culture and knowledge production. Its activities overflow the limits of the physic container, flooding the street as an invitation for going inside. So, it’s necessary to consider a wider intervention field that have impact on urban level, becoming a meeting point por citizens. The project answers all these questions from the shape, structure and scale of its spaces, leaving behind the traditional concept of the library as a wisdom container and becoming a workshop/factory/platform of culture and knowledge.The inflection point of the west facade defines three outside areas related with the accesses and two main areas for the organization of the library. The central square matchs with the main access (+566 level) and will have urban furniture for sitting or bicycle parking. The area in the confluence of Miguel Solas and Calcio streets (+569,5 level) is asociated with the direct access to the reading room and is conceived as a place for meeting or resting while reading under the shadow of the trees. The opposite area beside Aunon street, gives continuity to the open spaces of Avenida de los Rosales. The proposal takes advantage of the topography, allowing access to the three levels of the building. A larger volume raises its roof over the rest defining the main access. The glazed facade acts as a shelf and filters light softening the relationship between the interior and exterior. A porch in the southwest corner forms the access to the study room, which, thanks to the possibility of internal sectorization, facilitates its function outside the opening hours of the library. In the lower level, a second access is placed for multipurpose rooms and the garage entrance. In all three levels, the circulation core helps the sectorization of uses. It consists of stairs, a lift for users and a service lift controlled from the counters.
