Supporting JCG’s forthcoming Women of Substanceevent to celebrate International Women’s Day Vaishali Shah, Director at Minerva joins the select group of women invited to inspire students this Friday 6th March 2015. Vaishali is responsible for developing Minerva Group’s relationships with clients from the UK and East Africa, particularly with the next generation of their existing clients. She is Group Head of Marketing and also responsible for Minerva’s branding, design and visual communication. ‘As part of the relationship, Minerva will be running a competition with JCG Students to win a trip to London and attend and participate at an event run by Minerva’s Female Focus, an exclusive international network for businesswomen. Female Focus provides an exciting networking opportunity that enables like-minded business women to come together, share experiences and build business relationships’ explained Vaishali Shah, Director, Minerva and Head of Female Focus. The competition that Minerva is running is open to Year 11 and Year 12 students at JCG. Students will be asked to create a presentation of three to five minutes entitled ‘Aspirations of a Woman in 21st Century Society.’ The individual presentations, which can include video/PowerPoint or any format thought to be effective, should be inspired
by what the Students see and learn during the Women of Substance Day and be linked to the valuesof JCG. The first round of judging will take place at JCG during April. From this round, a shortlist of five students will be invited to make their presentation to a panel at Minerva where the final two winners will be decided. The winning two students will attend a Minerva Female Focus event in London ‘Members of this exciting and exclusive network benefit from a number of opportunities including networking with a dynamic group of highly successful women at the top of their professions, accessto international connections and support, attending interesting events and establishing new businessrelationships.’ ‘We are thrilled to welcome Minerva to our growing list of corporate partners.
