Scott (0-11 / 0-2) 52 December 5, 2010 Johnson County Races past the Greyhounds Fort Scott, KS – The Johnson County Community College men’s basketball team continued conference play with a solid 73-52 victory over Fort Scott. The Cavaliers won for the ninth straight time while improving their record to 10-1 and 2-0 in Jayhawk conference play. The Greyhounds drop to 0-11 overall and 0-2 in the league The Cavaliers led by a score of 30-28 at halftime. The Cavaliers held Fort Scott to 25 second half points while pumping in 42 themselves. 6-4 Freshman Forward Justin Leathers led JCCC with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocked shots. Sophomore Guard Ryan Arel scored 15 points, on 5/10 shooting from 3 point range. “I would definitely have to call this a grind it out win” Mike Jeffers, JCCC Men Head Basketball Coach.
