A former baseball player, also was featured as Missouri’s most eligible bachelor in a 2005 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine. Ed Kaminski 1995 Gold medalist at the U.S. Olumpic Festival in the javelin. Also won a nattional title at JCCC and was a two-time AllAmerican at Arkansas. Kevin Kowalik Teaching professional at Homestead Racquet Club. He also served four yeas as head tennis coach at Wichita State and two seasons at Oregon. Kowalik was an All-American doubles player at JCCC.

A former golfer at JCCC and a member of the first golf team, Randy Towner became the first person to play in a professional golf tournament in JCCC history. Towner, a current PGA Class A Head Golf Professional at Alvamar Golf Club, qualified for the 2007 United States Senior Open Championship at Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wis., by winning a local qualifying tournament.

Nyasha Zimucha A former golden girl at JCCC, Nyaha Zimucha became the first South African to be crowned Miss Africa USA in 2009. She also was a judge on the TV talent show Little Miss Perfect and is in the process of recording her first music album. Zumucha also has experience as an NFL cheeleader with the New England Patriots organization.

Reggie Hines Reggie Hines, a former basketball player at JCCC from 1986-88, serves as the Director of Basketball Operations and Promotions at The College Basketball Experience at Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo. He oversees youth and corporate events, outreach camps held thoughout the metro and marketing and promotions.
