Bucharest Design Compe on

Design Compe on for housing in the city Bucharest in Romania. Project required the selec on of a site within the city and for design of a housing solu on for the city. Project was then composed into presenta on boards to be sent for the compe on. Project was completed as a group with Ma Walker, Nathan Denahan, and Myself.

Con Edison Site Redevelopment Project

Project was located within New York City south of the UN Site. The project was to be a counter proposal to the developers proposal and the community proposal for the Con Edison Site. The program included residen al towers, oďŹƒce tower, and public access space. The project goal was to work with mul ple programs in a large site. Work done in group with Chris Neukamm.

Project was located within historic Charleston, SC. The program was to create a mari me museum that would house the Hunley. The museum would also provide restaurant space, classrooms, and a library. The projects goal was to con nue work within a city with an important contextual fabric and introduce more with building codes.

Boat Repair Facility Project

Page 18

Project was located on a site along the St. Johns River. The program was a boat building and repair facility that also is a school to learn the trade. This program would include buildings for boat construc on and storage as well as living quarters for the professors and students. The project’s goal was to work with real site with a realis c complex program.

Project used North South Parking Garage. The program was to add student study spaces to the facade of the garage. The project was a conceptual step in the understanding of a building skin.

Library project set to be taken from design phase to construc on documents. Building is of steel construc on with curtain walls. Project was completed as a group with Ma Walker, Odenis Vitoreli, Vivian Roda, Tommy Vollmer, and myself.

Project is a conceptual design looking at what it means to write and draw. It began by looking at war le ers which because of paper shortage would be wri en in mul ple direc ons on the paper. It was that examined and interpret into a Repository to house these le ers.

Project was at center to exhibit the history of the city of St. Augus ne. Building was sited in the historic core of St. Augus ne and was to provide a connec on to the Cas llo. The program included exhibit rooms, auditorium, and oďŹƒces.
