Worlds Of Fun(personal narrative)

This trip took up my whole Saturday (May 12), 2 days after my birthday. Actually, the twelfth was my older brother’s birthday, so it took quite a bit of convincing to get me to be able to go on that particular day. The trip took tons of planning on my part and still didn’t exactly go as I wanted it too. Multiple times throughout that week, I doubted if I would even be able to go. On Wednesday and Thursday, about half of the people whom I invited told me that they couldn’t go because they either got grounded, couldn’t get the money, or had some family function.

“I hate to admit it, but you’re a pretty cool mom,” me to my mother Before we left, there were even more problems. First of all, I woke up to rain, which is the worst thing to happen when you want to go to Worlds Of Fun that day. The only good thing to actually happen before noon was the arrival of my friend Salena. After she got there, we both proceeded to Amber’s house to pick her up for our big adventure that day. During our first venture, she was asleep and her brothers girlfriend shut the door in our faces. I will not go into the things I yelled at that door, but soon we just left only to come back later to find that

she was not there. Needless to say, my best friend could not go. I’ll point out that this whole time, it was raining.

Right away, we went straight for one of the most popular roller coasters. Despite being dragged through the lines of at least 6 roller coasters, I only got on 2, both being of the wooden variety. The first one being the timber wolf and then the prowler. I will freely admit that I did not open at all from the time that the rides started moving forward to when I felt it start to slow down. I also achieved opening my eyes on Cyclone Sam, but could barely stand when it was over.As we were walking around, we even found a stuffed fish on the ground. After the first wait at the Mamba, we got lost and ended up in Planet Snoopy. This is where my day was made as we got pictures with the peanut characters and giant banana’s with afros. When we finally left, I flopped onto the back bench in the van. Right before we got in the car, there were these guys that ran up to us and said they were going to do some moves just for us and started with these flips. When they ran off, my mom made some comment about Glee. My day wasn’t over however, because my mom made me make sandwiches for everyone before we even left the parking lot. . I’m not 100% sure whether or not I dozed off once or twice, but I do remember dropping off Salena and Danielle. After we got home and I was finally dragged from the car, I went upstairs to go to bed. Remembering the fact that my birthday was celebrated on my brother, I presented him with the stuffed fish we found.
