This can be effective if used in the following manner: You need to wash and dry your armpits thoroughly before going to bed and use a hair dryer if necessary. If the skin is not dry, a reaction can occur which will irritate the skin even more. After you have lain down in bed, apply the solution. It works best this way because the sweat glands are opened and the solution can get in and do its job. It’s a good idea to cover your armpits with a plastic film such as a food wrap and tape it up with a special tape you can get from the pharmacy. Wear a t-shirt that fits tightly over the area overnight to help keep the plastic wrap in place. Wash the solution off in the morning and do not use it on your armpits until bedtime. If the treatment seems effective, use the aluminum chloride every other night and then once or twice a week. As it can irritate the skin, do not use it every night.
