Today it takes over 200 volunteers and we hope that in becoming a member of the volunteer force, you will feel like part of the family. Thank you for choosing to join us! We want to be sure your passion and skill are exercised at full potential so you experience fun and fulfillment. Take a moment to familiarize yourself with the documents in the Volunteer Handbook. If you have any questions, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator.

With gratitude, La Quinta Arts Foundation

HISTORY The La Quinta Arts Foundation was formed in 1982 by a group of civic leaders who shared a dream that La Quinta might one day become the cultural and artistic center of the Coachella Valley. In the same year, with donations from local business leaders, La Quinta Arts Foundation was incorporated as a non-profit 503(c)3 organization. The very next year, 50 artists along with 1,476 patrons attended the first “Celebration of the Arts” at the Desert Club Resort in March 1983. Deemed an immediate success at its debut, the city’s first public arts show quickly evolved to become “La Quinta Arts Festival,” La Quinta’s premier annual event and primary fundraiser for La Quinta Arts Foundation programs. Today, La Quinta Arts Festival is ranked #1 Fine Art Festival in the Nation and continues to provide quality art and showmanship at the La Quinta Civic Center Campus.

OUR MISSION La Quinta Arts Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization incorporated in 1982 whose mission is, “Promoting and Cultivating the Arts.”
