When printing in a single colour, the University Logo should appear as solid black against a white background whenever possible.

For dark backgrounds, the logo should be reversed out in white.

Use of metallic gold and silver (for certain souvenir items) is permitted. Please note that in these circumstances the University Logo needs to be a positive image.

As a rule, the background colour should give high visibility to the University Logo. Other colour backgrounds should be avoided or kept to a minimum. Similar tones and other blues and greens are to be avoided. Colours that will cause “vibration such as bright reds, purples, browns are also to be avoided. You may refer to these examples for further guidance.
