Making a repair is quick and simple STEP

Step 1 - Cut either side of the leak and remove the damaged section pipe*. Deburr the two pipe ends or insert pipe liners (as appropriate to the type of pipe). Mark the insertion depths on both pipe ends*

Step 2 – Identify the slip end of the slip coupling and slide onto one of the pipes (slip end first) until it reaches the stop (indicated by a line of the coupling body).
* Please reference the SharkBite Technical guidelines regarding the length of pipe that should be removed and the pipe insertion depth (both of which are dependent on the diameter of the pipe being used)
