A late Victorian sapphire and diamond cluster brooch, centred with an oval-shaped sapphire within a surround of cushion-shaped diamonds which are each separated with a pair of smaller diamonds in silver and gold. Detachable brooch fitting. Fitted case. £1,000-1,500 1201. An early 19th century gold locket clasp, containing a glazed miniature portrait of Lord Byron. The hinged cover deeply chased with foliate scroll decoration. Engraved to the interior June 1825. The portrait 2.7cm wide. £2,000-3,000

1202. A Burmese sapphire and diamond cluster ring, the cushion-shaped sapphire is set within a surround of old cushion-shaped diamonds in platinum and gold. Size Q. £2,000-3,000 Accompanied by report number 5775-2615 dated 27th July 2015 from GCS, London stating that the cushion-shaped sapphire weighs 2.08ct, with no indications of heat treatment. Origin: Burma. 1203. A sapphire and diamond five stone ring, the three graduated oval-shaped sapphires are set with two old circular-cut diamonds in yellow gold. Size L ½. £1,000-1,500 1204. A sapphire and diamond cluster ring, the oval-shaped sapphire is millegrain-set within two cushion-shaped diamonds and a further surround of smaller cushion-shaped diamonds in carved platinum mount. Size M. £2,000-3,000 1205. A rectangular silver gilt cigarette case by Carl Fabergé, with dark blue guilloche enamel and silver decorated borders. Diamond set thumb piece. The top section mounted with a Russian coin, the gold 2 rouble coin depicting Catherine II and dated 1779 to reverse. The case marked for Fabergé in cyrillic with workmaster’s initials AH for August Hollming and 88 zolotnik and kokoschnik mark. With faint scrached inventory number 24809. Gilt interior. Small corner chip. 9.2cm long. £6,000-8,000 1206. A Russian, early 20th century lozenge-form diamond brooch, centred with an old circular-cut diamond, millegrain-set in platinum and gold with further graduated circular-cut diamonds to the openwork mount. Assorted Russian marks including a kokoshnik to the pin clasp, which partially obliterates the maker’s mark A.? 5cm wide. £3,000-4,000 1207. A Russian diamond set gold and enamel brooch, C1900 centred with a diamond set Great Imperial crown on oyster coloured guilloche enamel oval ground within a tied laurel two colour gold wreath. The shoulders millegrain set with graduated diamonds. Kokoshnik to rim. The pin with obscure mark, probably a kokoshnik. £2,000-3,000 The Great Imperial crown indicates that the brooch was probably a presentation piece. 1208. An Edwardian circular locket brooch, centred with a rose-cut diamond-set heart and lover’s knot on blue enamel ground. White enamel border with further surround of seed pearls. Glazed locket compartment to reverse. £500-700
