281* Middle Europe Motor-Car Society - Scientific Committee. A very rare and important bronze and enamel motor-car badge, the outer ring with the German text (as outlined in English), a Goddess aboard her winged vehicle centre, and the number 429 below. Believed to date pre-1900, the light blue enamel is in almost perfect condition, albeit the black enamel of the number two has chipped (1)

A large grillemounted full membership badge dating circa 1920, being the rare first version having a wheel device with the aforementioned wording highlighted in dark blue enamel and a red enamelled depiction of the region’s shield centre, in sound condition, a little rubbing to the surface (1)

283* Ceramic Sweet Jar in the guise of a chauffeur and his open-drive saloon motor-car, bisque with colour underglaze, in good condition save for an incorrect loose fitting lid, albeit colour wise, quite appropriate

284* Limousine Posy Holders. A pair of Bristol blue glass holders in cylindrical form, with matching metal frames and rear mounting brackets, in sound condition

286 BARC - Field Newspaper bronze medal awarded to H. G. Dobbs, the reverse inscribed, ‘The Field Team Award - Presented by the proprietors of the Field - 500 Miles Race - Brooklands 1934 - H. G. Dobbs Riley Team’, with its BARC presentation box, also three other medals awarded to Dobbs to include a silver-gilt medal awarded by the Ulster Motor Cycle Club in 1926, each with hinged boxes
