Chubb CCCV & CCCCXVII. Each part has its own title page (except Cumberland) and pagination, forming an independent and complete work. The forty-six maps are very similar in design and construction to those issued in Wallis’s New Pocket Edition of the English Counties, 1810 but on slightly larger plates. (25) £400-600

This edition is not in Chubb. The earlier circular cartouche on the maps containing the title has been erased and replaced with a new calligraphic title. The imprint on the majority of maps reads ‘London: William Darton & Son; 58 Holborn Hill’ This was the company name for a short lived period between 1835 and 1837. A complete atlas of this obscure edition must be considered scarce. (1) £1500-2000
