Hello! I am oh-‐so-‐very excited to be working with you! By this time you probably know that I am a passionate redhead that thrives on chocolate and lives for pretty images. I also LOVE getting to know the girls I work with (aka you!). Please reach out to me with any ideas, questions, or thoughts you have about your session.
I wish we could spend years together going to coffee shops, buying new shoes, and exploring the coast, but unfortunately we only have a small bit of time to get to know each other before the shoot. That is why I created a little questionnaire to get to know you a bit. Check your inbox! The next few pages are designed to inspire you. You will find shopping ideas, styling tips and resources, as well as a little bit of heart and soul. Please contact me at any time if you have questions about styling, wardrobe, or your upcoming photo shoot experience.
Hair and Make Up Confidence. Where does it come from? From within, of course! I believe this whole-‐heartedly, but I also believe that an hour in my hair and make up artist’s chair will knock your socks off-‐ you will feel like a movie star without the tabloid attention. Why is professional hair and make up so important? Because you don’t have to worry about a thing. Your lipstick won’t smudge, your eyeliner won’t run, and those cowlicks of yours will magically blend into the rest of your lovely locks. You will still look like you-‐ I promise, but your hair and make up will all be working for you to enhance your beauty and accentuate your inner confidence.
Beachy Waves or Stick Straight?
My hair and make up artists can do just about anything. To save time as they work their magic, come with an idea of what you would like your hair and make up to look like. Curls? Eyeliner? Nude lipstick? Your input is valued by the make up artist. Please also come with your hair clean and dry. Bring your own mascara for the MUA to use. Make sure your nails are clean and polished (or clear if you prefer!). Make sure those beautiful brows are plucked to your liking and avoid getting a hair cut the week before the session.
Tip: Don’t be shy! Feel free to speak up and let the artist know what you like!
Pretty Little Details…
At this point you are either thinking about going shopping or mentally pawing through your closet, searching for that perfect mini dress. Don’t worry, I am here to help bring together your outfits and pull the most beautiful aspects of your wardrobe together. I recommend bringing 7-‐8 different “outfits”. This can manifest itself in skirts, shirts, skinny jeans, jumpers, dresses, leggings, tights, and of course shoes. Layers work wonderfully for photo shoots. Bring a variety of color and textures! Please make sure clothing is clean and wrinkle-free.

Tip: bring more clothing than you think you will need!
What does it take to feel beautiful? Real beauty is a bold kind that gives joy to others. It bubbles from within and lights up your eyes like Christmas.
This kind of beauty is called happy. It is free and abundant and tastes like watermelon on a July day. It has no color, shape, or size. I can’t give you that kind of beauty, but I can help you discover it. These are a few things I love to do for each of my graduates…
Chat! I adore chatting with my girls about how they are feeling about the shoot and being in front of the
camera. Provide the best in hair and make up artistry. Encourage you. My job is not just to photograph you. My goal is to encourage you and affirm your beauty so can truly shine. you Create images that are fashionably you. I love fusing fashion and story together!
Give you an experience. Like birds in a seaside breeze your session should fly right by. We will talk a lot, laugh some, and race the sun as it fades into the warm evening.
We’ve covered it all… hair and make up, wardrobe, inner beauty, and confidence. I am hoping that I have given you what you need to prepare, but in between the nail appointment, new shoes, and going through your closet I know things will pop up. So, please feel free to call me. Or email, text, or send a carrier pigeon. Get in touch and let me know how you are feeling about the session, if you have any inspiration for your shoot, or want me to meet you at Nordstrom. I am here to help. Hugs-‐
