Meet Stephanie, AKA Sea Sprite, Who Does Modeling and Photography! Like modeling and photography? Meet Stephanie- she does both! Tell us a little about yourself. My name is Stephanie but I go by Sea Sprite for my modeling. I have a creative side that is just going into overdrive most of the time. I have always taken an interest in photography both taking the photos and being in the photos. I try to find humor in most things I do and enjoy making people laugh. Having been a model for 4 years has given me the opportunity to make others feel comfortable in front of the camera. What kind of art or performing do you do? I am both an amateur photographer as well as a semi experienced model. How long have you been doing this? I have been doing both taking the photos and modeling for 4 years now. Where did your inspiration come from? My inspiration has come from my very supportive husband who is a talented photographer and the first photographer that I had worked with.
Do you remember the moment you fell in love with it? If so can you describe it? The moment I fell in love with modeling was after the first photo shoot and I haven’t stopped since. My photography love was during an exploration walk in a park in Edmonton Alberta. I found my obsession with water, flowers, trees and of course people. It was such a rush, I think I took over a 100 photos that day. What drew you to this particular field/talent? I was drawn to both because I love to look at pictures and thought why not be in them and take them. Tell us about your current projects or activities. My current projects for photography are setting up a boudoir shoot (I have never shot one) and a wedding. As for the modeling I have several shoots in the near future with pin up shots coming. Which of your projects are you most proud of and why? The projects I am most proud of would be my water shoot that I took in Jasper because I have a terrible fear of heights and I hung over a ledge just to get the best angle. As for the modeling, every shot seems to be better than the last. Which of your projects do believe defines you as an artist the most? I have no specific project that I believe defines me the most because I like to try new ideas and become more well rounded and versatile. What sets you apart from other artists in your field? What sets me apart from others is that I try my best to do things differently so that I am not doing the same thing over and over. What is one of your most memorable moments/experiences in your field? The most memorable moment in photography would have to be hanging over the ledge to get the best shot. As for modelling I have had the opportunity to work with the most diverse group of photographers who have all in one way or another made each shoot memorable and an excellent experience. What advice would you give yourself if you could go back in time to when you first started? If I could go back in time to when I first started I would have started way earlier in life. learn photography, Fashion, Photography, modeling, sea sprite, stephanie
