WHAT TO BRING • 2 BAGS: - One for the walking

- Another one with clean clothes (this one stays in the bus and we don’t see it again until we reach Santiago)

Please, keep in mind that you will need to carry all these objects with you at all time during the 5 day walk Identification papers. Proper footwear (comfortable boots/trainers and flip flops) Poncho (Waterproof) Light warm sweater or short jacket Shorts (2) One pair of long trousers or tracksuit bottoms (1)

The other bag Once we arrive in Santiago, the bus will be waiting for us: •Another bag with whatever you may need once we get there to take a nice, comfortable shower. This bag will be in the bus while we’re walking. •Footwear. •Clean clothes • etc.

Arriving to Triacastela, we drop the bags at the hostel and we all go to dinner‌

We’ll get the CREDENCIAL that we’ll need to fill with the stamps at churches and bars (yes, bars…we’re in Spain after all) all along the way, the last one been that for the Cathedral at Santiago. With your credencial you’ll get your COMPOSTELA or pilgrim’s certificate.

At Portomarín we go to the albergue (hostel), and we have lunch… Free time in the afternoon, dinner all together and we go to sleep early…

Food at the Camino First course: we have several dishes to choose from; basically soup, pasta, salad… Second course: meat, fish, chicken, fried eggs…and always french fries Dessert: tarta de Santiago (kind of an almond cake), ice cream o fruit…

No sushi, no enchiladas and no McDonald's; this is rural Spain!
