SKETCHUP ADOBE

AUTOCAD Working drawings were completed using AutoCAD ®, developed from a floor plan initially provided by NAIT. This project is designed to demonstrate the production of clear and concise working drawings and details. The complete structure is a three story mixed-use building. There is a restaurant in the main floor and the 2nd and 3rd floors are residential suites.

DORMITORY FLOOR PLANS COURSE WORK: WORK: Dormitory-AUTOCAD®

The structure consists of cast-in-situ beams, columns, and joists. Along with concrete block, used in the stairwells and elevator shaft, and steel stud wall systems, used for the exterior and interior walls.

ATB BANK RENDERING AND PLAN

ORIGINAL DESIGN: ATB Bank - AUTOCAD/PHOTOSHOP

The ATB bank design is meant to contrast the historic buildings in the Heritage Quarter; where the building site is located. An ultra-modern structure made of glass, steel and concrete will juxtapose the traditional brick and masonry structures of the historic buildings. Using the SketchUp®, these renderings reveal the completed three story structure, with the bank and café in the main floor.

ATB BANK RENDERING

A “bank of the future” that is made of sustainable materials and is built for the well-being and comfort of the occupants. The café is a community space that is attached to the bank that allows local artist the use of the blank walls as gallery space.

The pharmacy SketchUp® model was developed from plans and elevations provided by NAIT. This building was modeled, textured, and enhanced to create a complete rendering. I also used iRender® and Photoshop® to edit the place the additional elements, such as people and cars, in the rendering.

ADOBE

INTERIOR RENDERING COURSE WORK: Commercial Project - REVIT/PHOTOSHOP

ORIGINAL DESIGN: ATB Bank - SKETCHUP/PHOTOSHOP

The renderings of this commercial building were created using Revit® and SketchUp®. I also enhanced and edited all the images using Photoshop®. To create a more realistic environment that brings the viewers into the structure I used the program to change and improve the renderings by adding the sky and the people. I was able to produce better images that contained real people and cars while enhancing the textures and lighting of the original renderings.

INTERIOR RENDERING

I filtered and altered the original renderings, from Revit® and SketchUp®, in order to create more realistic images that included people inhabiting the spaces.
