van buskirk residence
The Van Buskirks live in a home on Bainbridge Island, built in the 1970’s. They wish to remodel all areas of the main floor except the kitchen. Mr. Van Buskirk is an engineer and works from home. Mrs. Van Buskirk runs the thrift shop on Bainbridge Island and loves antiques. The Van Buskirks favor blues, grays, rust tones, golds and some lavender. Mr. Van Buskirk would like to incorporate his nautical art into the office design, and Mrs. Van Buskirk would like to display her antique collection throughout the home. Although the Van Buskirks lean towards a more traditional style, they are not afraid to include some modern elements in the design of their home. They also love built-in storage units, and would like to incorporate them wherever possible.
