To Whom it May Concern Jerusalem, 12.02.2012 Re: Architect Jakub Szkiladz Hereby I wish to certify that architect Jakub Szkiladz graduated at the Wroclaw University of Technology, Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning in Poland, spent over two months period of apprenticeship (13.11.2011 – 17.01.2012) working in our Architecture and Town Planning office in Jerusalem. Jakub was involved in architectural and urban design, rendering, detailing and daily supervision of several projects, such as: 1.

Restoration of a 150 years building compound in the Old City of Jerusalem, the Austrian Hospice. It was necessary to deal with the renovation of the infrastructure of the building as well as with the detailing and remodeling of all the functions ( rooms, bathrooms, restaurant, cafeteria, kitchen, roof), as well as with the planning of the new parts of the compound and of its renovated infrastructure. His duties included the preservation of the archaeological salvation diggings on the site. Jakub visited several times the building site and was involved with the building supervision, which contributed to the understanding of the practical side of our profession. A big housing complex in East Jerusalem, including the conceptual and detailed stages of the project. It also included the urban aspects of the planning. Habitat complex of eight floors including various sizes of apartments for middle class. Senior Nursing Home – net of project overall Poland commissioned by Israeli developer’s company situated in Israel and in Poland. Jakub’s work focused on the prototype of such an institution. Correction and detailing of various smaller private and public projects. He was also coordinating the planning with the rest of the office’s team and consultants. Jakub has a good control of the English language, which was very helpful to communicate with the rest of our team and other people. He had shown his skills both in his designing attitude as well as in mastering of computer programs and their application. Moreover, he was devoted and dedicated to the tasks he was given to accomplish and took upon himself more than the usual responsibilities. His sense of positive human relations and nice personality was stimulating and made the work with him a pleasure. He surely is ambitious, and has heart for our profession. There is no doubt that he invests in acquiring new knowledge, which increases in him constantly, thanks to his talent and his laborious perseverance. Therefore, I have no hesitation to recommend architect Jakub Szkiladz to any kind of future professional collaboration. Zaświadczenie Jakub Szkiladz Wroclaw W okresie od 13 listopada 2011 roku do 17 stycznia 2012 roku pan architekt, Jakub Szkiladz, absolwent Wydziału Architektury Politechniki Wroclawskiej odbył staż w Konsulacie RP w Jerozolimie. Od samego początku zdałem sobie sprawę, że Jakub posiada olbrzymi potencjał we wszystkich dziedzinach oraz sprawność w wykonaniu zadań o różnym zakresie, między innymi zajmował się korespondencją w Konsulacie. Jakub brał udział w inicjatywach tworzenia współpracy, wymian kulturalnych, akademickich, młodzieżowych i innych w sposób jak najbardziej efektywny. Szczególnie musze podkreślić elokwencje oraz narracje Jakuba, która zostala jak najbardziej zastosowana do tworzenia odpowiednich atmosfer i kreatywności w naszych działaniach na korzysc promocji Polski w Jerozolimie.
