Wow! What a great event on Sunday October 24th at 11AM. The first JCNA slalom event at the Franklin County Fairgrounds. A timed speed event where you run your car on a figure 8 type course. The Max speed was about 25 mph so it was safe, but what fun it was! This was really practice for our Challenge Championship next year. This was a great opportunity to bring your Jag and test its agility. Take a look at JCNA.com to learn more about the slalom.
The directions were: What you will need to bring or do: (rain or shine) 1. Bring lunch, or snack and drink. (strictly, no alcohol if you plan on driving) 2. Vehicle trunk and interior must me cleared of any loose items. 3. You must wear a helmet, please bring yours to wear, or we will have some loaners on hand. If you have extra helmets bring them to share. 4. Tires and car will be inspected for safety. It is advised to raise your tire pressures to handle the extra cornering Gs. There will be a compressor on site. 5. Your car must be fitted with a seat belt in order to run. Written by: George Keller
