A modern, original and very functional guide to Poland. It helps foreigners to understand Poland and Polish people and to discover the most interesting places recommended by wide group of public officials and organizers of cultural activities. It presents a consistent, clear and current review of the most important economic, social and cultural life of Poland (8chapters). Kuchnia PUCuisine PL The Polish Presidency is a great opportunity to promote Polish cuisine. Adam Chrzastowski, one of the most respected Polish chefs, oversees creation of an excellent menu of Polish dishes based on local products, for the meetings in Poland and Brussels. The foreign delegations and journalists visiting Poland during Presidency will receive also a set of recipes of Polish meals arranged in a modern way by 16 chefs, including three foreigners, who work in the best Polish restaurants. The starting point of all recipes is a product associated with Polish cuisine (i.e. herring, cucumber, grouts, poppy seeds and game). Each recipe introduces a product by describing it, includes its cultural context in a comprehensible way for foreign reader. The pictures make the publication more attractive.
