JXN THEATRE This proposal of a 930 seat proscenium style theatre is incentive for larger scale productions to happen alongside smaller, potentially locally run productions for the Jackson, Mississippi metro area. Providing this theatre design to the city, in a more centralized location than two other theatres serving the surrounding neighborhoods, allows for a vast mix of uses when it comes to performances. This proposal will allow the needs of Jackson, Mississippi’s growing arts community to be met, while also allowing for the arts to continue growing.
