Project brief India’s leading daily, Times of India, decided to massively expand its press capacities by signing a major deal with Manroland Web Systems featuring 7 Regioman Towers and 3 folders for their various production centers in India. One of the Regioman series and Cromoman series was destined for Kolkata which consists of four printing towers and a double folder. Kolkata Press had to be upgraded and expanded such that it meets technical & related requirements of the new installation. Apart from the Kolkata centre, we have even won orders for their Pune, Nagpur & Mumbai Facility. One of the major challenges that we faced in this project was that it had to be executed without affecting their existing production.
Project brief
Ecospace, the Business Park, is an Eco-friendly building complex built according to Gold Rating requirements of LEED. Spread over an area of 20 acres, upon completion will have a built-up area of 2 million sq.ft. Ecospace is divided into two equal independent campuses and has been developed by two different players. We have executed the campus which has been developed by Udayan Greenfield Developers Ltd. of Ambuja Realty Group.

Hydrant System, Sprinkler System, Extinguisher, Fire Detection & Alarm and Fire Water Pumping System at Block C & Block D.

Mechanical The Process Cooling for press machines of two buildings, air conditioning of press halls, offices and stores. Precision air conditioning of electrical control rooms and ventilation of the entire facility. The plant comprises of 3 X 180 TR Water Cooled Screw Chillers, Cooling Towers, associated pumps for primary & secondary Chilled Water Circuits for both Process Cooling & air conditioning, Condenser Cooling Pumps.
DG Supply, installation & commissioning of 2 X 2500 KVA LT (415 V) DG Sets for un-interrupted power back up for the press. Total press is capable of running on DG Sets. The engines are of MTU, Germany make.
