EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 1196

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: WHEREAS, John Montrell Rose, Mississippi Department of Corrections No. 69399, was sentenced on or about May 24, 1996, for Possession of More than lOne (I) Kilogram of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Cause No. 2687, in Madison iCounty, Mississippi; and WHEREAS, on or about May 5, 2000, John Montrell Rose was discharged from probation by Court Order due to the expiration of his sentence; and NOW, THEREFORE, I, Haley Barbour, Governor of the State of Mississippi, under and by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and Laws of this State, do hereby grant to John Montrell Rose a full, complete, and unconditional pardon for the crime and conviction named herein; and henceforth, shall be absolved from all legal consequences of this crime and conviction. I do authorize and direct you, upon receipt of this Executive Order, to take notice and be governed accordingly.
