What a busy boy WOW! Jack Bauer is a very busy boy. We (the Retail Gaming team) have just spent the whole of our last working month binge watching the complete nine seasons of the epic TV show 24 (for research purposes) and cannot believe what this man has dealt with in just nine days of his life. Assassination attempts, nuclear attacks, bioterrorism, torture, traitors, sleeper cells and other general all round bad guys. This guy never stops and also doesn’t sleep, yet amazingly he still finds time for a number of romances – although to be fair these have an alarming tendency to end very badly. Fortunately Jack has now retired from counter-terrorism and has found time to star in our latest new and exclusive game 24. Read on to find out more about the game and what we’ll be doing to promote it, as well as everything else that’s happening in the world of gaming this month.
A King, a Queen and a Jack Joining Jack Bauer on your machines this month are an unlikely royal couple, King Kong Cash and (Queen) Cleopatra. These three parts of a Royal Flush will be live across the estate no later than Wednesday 24th January and as always you can learn all about them by scanning the QR codes below and completing the interactive tutorial videos. We’ve sent each shop a pack of scratchcards (the number of cards varies by shop, check your pack to see how many you’ve been allocated). Split your pack of cards into five equal amounts to give you a daily allocation. Every card is a winner and contains a cashcode prize of either £2 or £24 to play 24. During each day of the promotion any customer taking the opportunity to play before you pay should be given a scratchcard, unless your daily allocation is used up. If your daily allocation is used up, you should explain to customers that they can still try the game free by taking up the play before you pay offer and (from Wednesday to Saturday) are welcome to come back the following day to try for a scratchcard. The offer of a scratchcard is strictly one per customer per day.

A right Royal affair We had a magnificent response to our recent ‘Sheba’ campaign. We received hundreds of pictures of shop teams donning their headdresses and getting out to promote the game in their shops. Over 800 of you completed an interactive video tutorial, and the game has consistently been a top 3 performer since its release. All that’s left to do is announce the competition winners and thank every single colleague who took the time to get involved in the activity. There were £100 of WOW points up for grabs for each of the Regional winners in the ‘Right Royal affair…’ competition.
