PERC’s New Weather Safety Collections Educate Consumers, Community & Media
The Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) has developed a new collection of weather safety educational resources that marketers can share with propane customers and/or local media providing tips on how to stay safe before, during, and after floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, and wildfires.
Each weather safety topic includes: Social Media Posts

A collection of customizable social media posts that focus on major weather events like floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, and wildfires so that marketers can educate propane customers in their area about important safety resources and tips on how to keep their propane home safe in the event of severe weather.
Videos
This series of videos, each focused on a different weather event, allows marketers to use in local outreach to promote important safety tips and reminders for homeowners during severe weather events.
News Releases
A collection of customizable new release templates also concentrates on major weather events so the propane industry can contact local media to promote safety resources and tips for homeowners during severe weather events.
Guest Column
In addition to the news releases, PERC has also developed a collection of customizable guest column templates that focus on hurricanes, floods, tornados and wildfires so that marketers can use them in local outreach to media to promote safety resources and tips for homeowners during severe weather events.
