roto molded competition. designing a product fitting into the theme of outdoor living that utilizes the rotational molding process for Windsor Granite for Plastics company.

product inspiration and research.

the problem. outdoor furniture needs to be waterproof to withstand the elements since it is often exposed out in the open. couch cushions are not 100% waterproof and often need to be moved elsewhere when bad weather hits. there is no proper spot to store these since they belong outside, and often end up inside the home taking up space. storage is a problem with outdoor furniture

material usage . plastic material sample. durable grey plastic with a pattern to fit a modern designed outdoor living space

fabric material sample. waterproof white canvas used for seat cushions

patio set design. creating a sleek patio set design to live outdoors in an upscale modern environment that is functional, comfortable, and attractive. finding a way to solve the storage problem of traditional outdoor furniture options.

drainage slats along edge to eliminate puddles on couch seat. easy pulled handle to gently open and close drawer

straight arms give flat surface to rest drinks on draw storage on each piece of furniture maximizes space and creates the perfect spot to store seat cushions during bad weather conditions.

tapered arms allow water to flow off instead of puddle up inset drawer to make sure water does not drain in.

EpiPatch

EPIpen has created Auto Injectors that shoot a single dose of medication into the body to counteract an allergic reaction. It is recommended to do this immediately after exposure, then seek medical attention.

desiging a product for the medical industry targeting those with allergies to help them monitor the three vitals that increase during a severe reaction

This solution can be life saving, but it can also causes severe discomfort and expense. The issue is not knowing if you should use the EPIpen or how bad your reaction is getting.

Allergic reactions can happen without warning from specific allergens in an environment. These could involve foods, medications, insect bites, or materials. A severe type of reaction is called anaphylaxis, where the body perceives these trigger allergens as a threat.
