For this issue of the magazine they decided to show their contemporary twist to a classical fairy-tale wedding in a castle. With an endless quest for intimacy and elegance, Elena and Andreea have scouted around Romania in search for those authentic places where unique celebrations can be created.

For this special photo shooting they chose the Cantacuzino Castle, set at the foot of the mystical Carpathian Mountains, in a rural Romania that still recalls the medieval charms. The serene panoramic view from the main balcony made them to instantly fall in love with this venue. Elena said: "We thought: what can be more romantic than celebrating your love surrounded by majestic mountains, in a 1900 castle? And we want4-ed to show that to the world!”

The focal point of the shoot was the balcony of the castle, with view of Caraiman peak. In notes of pink and burgundy, with hints of green, and copper, the styling calls for poetry and the abundance of autumn; the stone columns have been dressed in floral arrangements, to resonate with the landscape and create that out-of-a-fairytale frame for the couple.

The models are both professional ballet dancers and their elegance and expression is calling for the creative spirit that naturally unfolds in all love stories.

Elena shares: “Our goal was to inspire brides who would love a castle wedding but aren’t sure if it’s the right fit for them, or if they can afford it. The raw beauty of a castle can also be used in your favour to help you reduce costs.”

“The inspiration behind the colour palette was to showcase that a castle wedding doesn’t necessarily have to be dark and classic. Our photographer, Ioana Porav and our florist, Elena Bodea, did an amazing job at brightening up the castle with bold colors and soft lights. We share a love for rich, vibrant colours and it was fun to incorporate them in a sophisticated and romantic venue”, Andreea shares.
