Founder and former CEO of America Online (AOL) and Jean a former Marketing Executive of AOL and now CEO of the Case Foundation—have lived and raised a family in Virginia for over 30 years. Since first trying local wines, they have been impressed by the strides the Virginia industry has made. When they bought the vineyard in 2011, their goal was to create a vineyard that was both a business and a social enterprise. They wanted a mission-driven brand that would elevate the wine industry in Virginia, and they believed that our state wines were capable of competing with some of the best wine regions in the world.
