Have Fun While Helping Animals! Luray Zoo is a Rescue Zoo, dedicated to providing animals with a loving and caring home. The zoo is privately owned and operated by Mark and Christine Kilby. Luray Zoo receives no government funding. All admission and gift shop sales goes directly to help support and care for all the animals at Luray Zoo. The Zoo receives animals that are retired zoo animals, unwanted exotic pets, confiscations, and sadly occasionally abused animals. Luray Zoo offers one of the largest venomous snake collections on the east coast, outside exhibits where you can get up close with the zoo animals, as well as a petting zoo. During the summer the zoo offers educational shows on the weekends that are included in the admission price.

March 25, 2016 through October 31, 2016 the Zoo is open daily 10am-5pm, including holidays. Check back for winter hours (November through start of March) Please remember that Luray Zoo has the right to close without notice. In the event of snow/bad weather check website or call before driving out to make sure we are still open.
