Travel Tip: Finding Good Eats Sometimes eating on the road means dining in unfamiliar surroundings, at odd hours, on overcooked food, and with limited choices. For this reason I take breakfast bars, granola bars, dried fruit, and other easy to pack foods that don’t require refrigeration. I hope the road food tips in this section help you improve those less-than-ideal meals and expand your choices. • Ask the front desk or concierge at your hotel. • Ask shopkeepers where they eat (not which restaurants they
recommend). • Inexpensive vegetarian restaurants can often be found near college campuses. • If a restaurant looks interesting, but you are not sure how good it will be, wait outside and ask those who are leaving about the meal. I went to a restaurant. It said, ‘Breakfast anytime.’ So I ordered French toast during the Renaissance.| (Taken from page 185) James Feldman, (a.k.a.
